A lot of patience and vigilance has to be exercised for one to secure a good job
There was a time when i decided to visit the companies where i had dropped or at least posted my cv to see if they had really gotten them or if i was waiting for a response that was not even there. This was one of those days that you are just fed up with the results that you are getting that you would prefer to go and confirm all by yourself just to be sure that things are working out the way that they should be. I was shocked to find that most of the companies where i had dropped my cv they had not been looked at or at least they had not even reached the recipient who in this case is the human resource manager. The kind of cv database that i was getting in many of these companies made me realize that competition for those who were looking for jobs was at its highest and that is why many times you find that there is no response when you send your application to a job vacancy that had been advertised. It is not that looking for job needs for you to give up when there is no response, there has to be a lot of patience that needs to be exercised for you to one day wake up to your dream job. You also have to be vigilant to that you can be considered and so visiting the company after your application would be the best thing to do. Some of those people who get employed are those who followed up on their applications and so when you do not take your time to look at what is happening, you might never land in a good job because you have not taken your time to find one.
